SYNOPSIS:
Welcome to Queens, 1962 – where the hair is high, the harmony is tight, and trouble always comes with a beat. When innocent Arkansas newcomer Al Adeane lands a job at his Uncle Abe’s Doo‑Wop Club, he falls hard for the club’s star singer Donna Petrucci – and then stumbles into Abe’s not-so-legal plans involving a certain “lucky” lamp. From a bungled skylight robbery to a jailbreak plot, and from the bright lights of the club to a dangerous cantina in Chihuahua, Mexico, this rockin’ musical comedy serves up doo‑wop classics from a variety of crooners, fast-talking gangsters, and a rescue mission that proves love can out sing crime.
